Bathroom remodeling in Jacksonville, FL

A bathroom is the smallest room with the most trades in it. We build them watertight first and pretty second: proper waterproofing, sloped pans and ventilation that actually exhausts outdoors, then tile, vanity, fixtures and paint.

Jacksonville's housing stock sets the job. The 1950s–70s block homes of Arlington, the Westside, Mandarin and the Northside have hall baths with cast-iron tubs, tile that was set in a mud bed, and drains that have seen better decades. The 1990s–2020s homes on the Southside, in Oceanway and out toward Nocatee have fiberglass units and builder vanities that are simply due.

We do a lot of tub-to-shower conversions in both (the single highest-impact bathroom project for the money) plus full hall-bath remodels, master baths and aging-in-place conversions with zero-threshold entries and blocked grab bars. For rental owners we run a durable rental spec: waterproof LVP, a tiled or solid-surface surround, a pressure-balanced valve and fixtures that survive turnover.

Permitted work (moving a drain, new circuits, a shower where there was none) goes through JaxEPICS with the licensed plumber or electrician on the job.
